Shoeing with Cabato

CABATO is made of alloy and composite, for maximum torque combined with extremely low weight. The bottom of the shoe is coated with composite. The patented
solution EHS is embedded in the composite, which makes natural hoof movement possible. 

For optimal effect with CABATO , please take the following into consideration:

  • The surface of the shoe has a width of 20 mm.
  • When the hoof is trimmed, the entire contact surface is to be smooth and flat.
  • The metal side against the hoof
  • Shoe radius approx. 3 mm outside the hoof.

Shoing with Cabato

  • An ordinary nail can be used, E3 for example. For better results, use a nail with smaller head, e.g. F.J. or ASM.
  • The nail is countersunk into the washer (fig. 2).
  • The open model is possible to shape. Use a shaping tool or a wooden or plastic hammer.
